I'm looking for some feed back on a flash based Strategy War Game.

Game: http://www.untouchablegames.com/main.php?show=newGame.php

ScreenShots:
Lobby - http://www.untouchablegames.com/ng2/images/bom_large_screen_lobby.jpg

Configure - http://www.untouchablegames.com/ng2/images/bom_large_screen_configure.jpg

Battle - http://www.untouchablegames.com/ng2/images/bom_large_screen_battle.jpg

This is compatable with IE 5.0 or older. I have purposely made this decision as 90% of my visitors have IE 5.0.

I'm interested in feedback in the following area:
Playability
Marketing and Price Points
Graphics
General Comments

Thanks for taking the time to look at this!

Can't play it...can't login. Screenshots look interesting. I like this fighting style.

Am I mistaken, or are those unit sprites lifted from Fire Emblem?

Otherwise, looks up my alley. Hopefully I'll get some free time soon to give it a try.

First impression:

Registering/Logging in is FAR too confusing. Your messages are very misleading.

You see, i expected Register to go to a separate page, not try to register with the two empty boxes.

When it tried to register with two empty boxes, instead of complaining that either box was empty it simply said "name in use".

I then registered a name that wasnt in use and it said "logging in"

but it wasnt logging in! Oh no, I had to log in with my now registered details.

This will be a major trumping point even for your testers to get into it. First fix-work should go there I believe, as it isnt that tough to iron out and will carry the initial user experience leaps and bounds.

The reg process is pretty normal and is smart to build it all into the game instead of having separate pages. Then you'll be more able to partner with others. Just need to clean it up a little with correct messages. How about "Sign Up" instead of "Register", etc.
