I must have missed this while reading the T&C's or Plimus are a set of deviants, I just got my monthly newsletter regarding sales etc, and last month I issued a refund and noticed in the newletter you have gross and net values, but the refund net is same as the gross value so seems Plimus take their percentage regardless of redunds and end up costing you to refund. Is this right ?

When I first started up, I got my dad to buy a copy as a tester of the service. It worked, but when I tried to refund his cash it told me I didn't have sufficient funds available.
It's just another thing in an increasingly long list of complaints I've got about Plimus' service. I'd shift to a different company in an instant if I could face going through the same setup hassles again...

Ah yeah I know about the first refund of the month thing, which they have to issues via the backend or something, so you have to ask them mail them rathger then use the big refund button.

I didn't read their T&C but if logicaly... you make a sale and they process payment they have same amount of expenses if you then refund it or not (I fact they have more expenses with the additional refund). Refund is your (promise vs. product) responsability/problem not plimuses so why should they pay for it.

Isn't this standard? I thought if you get chargebacks or issues refunds you will absorb the cost of the processing, but the overall sales and "low" refund request would make up for it.
I have read that in a few threads around here before. If it is only plimus that do it then I would be suprised.

eSellerate does the same thing. I bet the others do too. They still have to pay the credit card processor etc. Refunds are just a cost of doing business, though.
