Very interesting read, Jamie - we definitely need more indie postmortems. Thanks for sharing all that, especially the details of the partnerships that are working well for you.

Sorry if it's not really feedback time but I have to give some. :)
It's a really nice game with a very enjoyable atmosphere. The graphics look great (despite the outlines having different styles/thicks).
So I'm on Win98 and I experienced a problem with the cursor. When launching the game my cursor becomes a rectangle containing all the cursor graphics. And when playing it seems that the custom hand cursor (which isn't so cute BTW) is 10 pixel offset (Y axis) from mouse's real position. It's a bit annoying when I'm trying to click on stuff.

Thanks for the feedback, guys! It's good to know that you found the information useful, and that others are learning from our experience.

OliverPearl: Hm. It may be that you are just barely hitting the system requirements. Have you tried running in fullscreen to see if that helps? Sorry about your woes! We spent a heck of a lot of time doing compatability testing, but you can never catch them all ;)

Yes I tested fullscreen and windowed. Great game anyway! ;)
