Firefox Usernames and Passwords

For some reason Firefox won't cache this site for me? Does it work for other people?

Tools->options->passwords->view saved passwords->passwords never saved

Check that list and remove this forum's url if its there. After that you should be asked if the password/user combo should be saved the next time you login.

There is nothing in the list. However, I way have added the site to the list in a previous version of FireFox. Maybe there is a problem with the list?

Hmyea there are many ways to screwup a profile. Never heard about a case like this tho.

Well, if you're going to fiddle around with the profile... backup your bookmarks before (bookmarks->manage bookmarks... file->export). IIRC there are also programs for making a backup of the whole profile.
