Logo feedback

Hi Guys,

We are gearing up to open our family-oriented all ages game division, InjoyGames.com, and are interested in some feedback on the logo (this one will be used on in-game splash screens).

The emoticon is way too imposing, IMO. I would lose it and maybe turn the "o" in "Injoy" into a smiley if you really want to do that...

Definitely.. the Injoy and Games bit by themselves look good by themselves.. with perhaps making the O a smiley like an Acid face.

I agree with EpicBoy and the others, it looks good with the exception of the smiley being too imposing.

I like the logo, but I'm afraid casual gamers don't know any complex smiles besides :)
All the smilies nowadays are represented by icons and casuals which use MSN/ICQ/whatever just don't know how to put/type them without mouse.

Replace the "o" with a happy face rather than a smiley and I think you're golden - it achieves what you wanted and still maintains readbility.

I will add. In my opinion it's too simple logo. Unless style of your games will be a pixel graphics or something.

This blue smile attracts all the attention.

I think the combination of the "D" and the lower-case letters on the right side tend to make it look heavy on the right. Using fewer colours might be an idea as well.

I would draw the face without the orange bevel style. I think it would look better just drawing it in a flat black colour. Or maybe you could keep that style, but make the lines thinner... I don't know, I looks like that 'O' is a bit 'croweded.'

Also, I would get rid of the beveled white background (I don't know if it's actually part of the logo.)

I say kill the white bevel around the outside and you're golden. Looks nice!
