Greetings everybody,

I've posted here before back in 2004, but I wanted to post again. I am available to create music for your indie game. If you are capable of supporting either the MP3 or OGG format in your game, or some other format converted from WAV, then I am psyched to help you out. I have been a gamer since I was in my mother's womb playing Super Umbilical Bros.

My background... I did the music for a bunch of indie games in the past that were developed by Webfoot Technologies, including Tronic, 3D Brick Busters, 3D Jumpy's World, 3D Maze Man, Chain Reaction, and others. I also did the music for the GBA game Dragonball Z: The Legacy of Goku, which received a 4.5 out of 5 in Gamepro Magazine for Sound. This means that I understand and meet my deadlines, I communicate well with my team, and I've signed more NDAs than you could stuff in a shoebox.

Here are some MP3 examples of my recent music:

High Energy
Space Sea (http://spoomusic.com/albums/sp00 - Fable/11 - sp00 - T. H. Sea.mp3)
Saturn's Call (http://spoomusic.com/albums/sp00 - Fable/12 - sp00 - Saturns Call.mp3)
The Game Star (http://spoomusic.com/albums/sp00 - Fable/13 - sp00 - The game star.mp3)
The Ultimate (http://spoomusic.com/albums/sp00 - Fable/06 - sp00 - The ultimate.mp3)

Ambient
He's Outside (http://spoomusic.com/a-zot/sp00_hes_outside.mp3)
Too Far To The Next Star (http://spoomusic.com/a-zot/too_far_to_the_next_star.mp3)
Merry Go Round Lose Focus (http://spoomusic.com/albums/sp00 - Fable/15 - sp00 - Merry go round lose focus.mp3)

If you want more samples in a certain style, please don't hesitate to contact me. Just know in advance that I don't do rock n' roll, opera, and especially... rock n' roll operas.

I also create sound effects. I do have a minidisk and mic, so I am capable of doing fieldwork if real-life sounds are needed. I do have some male and female voice talent in stand-by, so that is an option.

My contact information, resume, list of published games and demo reel can all be found on my web site at http://arielgross.com/ (http://arielrgoss.com/).

Thank you.

Wow. I'm not looking for a musician or anything, so I'm not sure why I clicked on this thread, but damn I love your music!

Your F-Zero track rules, and your spacey stuff makes me want to drop what I'm doing and make a spaceship game again.

You have a fan. I'm downloading everything you have on your website right now :)

Ariel, you're still on my contacts list for when I start looking for such services...and also because of the Pac-man arcade unit that I might get in the next few years. B-)

Ryan,

I sincerely appreciate your reply and your compliments. It always gives me heart to know that people dig video game remixes. AND! I am always taking requests on video game remixes. Just don't ask me to do Mario. Well, I mean, ok if you insist...

grin.

GBGames,

One of these days you will indeed have your Ms. Pac. But first you'll need to sleep on whether you want an upright... or a cocktail... These are the real decisions in life, if you ask me. Upright or cocktail.

Take two on that grin.

Thanks for the feedback from you both. Looking forward to more!
Sincerely.

Nicely drowned :)

If you're looking for more songs to remix, you can always try MegaMan. Not sure if you were into those games, but I sure was. The music suited each particular boss/zone quite well, and always got stuck in my head!

Ryan,

Megaman, yes... I remember jamming out to the soundtrack as a kid and making words for the songs. Elecman was my favorite song from Megaman 1. I took you up on your challenge and made this today:

Hope you enjoy it.

Mustardseed,

I appreciate your kind words, sir... Let me know when it is game time and we can discuss the details.

I checked out your web page, too... Pretty funny about the lens flares. Heh! Anyway, if you need music for indie films or TV ads, let me know about that, too.

Be well in the meantime,
Dr. Ariel von Sleemenhooft

Chrono Trigger kicks some serious ass both gameplay and soundtrack wise. Your arrange of memories of green is good, which is remarkable as there is not much fan arranges on Chrono Trigger that I like.

Anyway, do you produce music in tracker format? As this is something I need at the moment.

More details here:

Berserker,

Thank you for your compliments on the Chrono Trigger arrangement. It is an amazing game, indeed. Did you ever play the Secret of Mana series? That was another fun one.

I tracked music using various trackers for about eight years. If you are able to accept the Impulse Tracker format (.IT), then I would be willing to discuss helping you out of your most unfortunate predicament concerning a vanished musician.

Please send me an e-mail, ariel at spoomusic dot com, with more details about what it is that you are looking for. Thanks!

Sincerely.

IMO music is a blast and fits the game really well. Sound effects also quite there. It's been a real pleasure working with him as he was very kind and responded on time.

Overall: very professional work. Looking forward to work with him again.

Hey, thanks for the compliments... I plan on remixing more Sonic 1. I used to plug my headphones into the Genesis and listen to the music in test mode for hours. When I get Star Light Zone I will post it here for you!

Thanks,
