Hi guys,
I found an email that I recently received from a Chief Loof Lirpa of the Apache high council of North America, basically stating that the use of the word 'INDIE' was both derogatory and indeed racist!
I thought at first it was a spam, but the message stated that owing to an ancient law dating back to the 1700's, the council has the right today to not only sue anyone using the word, but also anyone ( i.e you and me) who is affiliated with someone/something using the word. It also permits them, should they feel unjustly agrieved, the right to 'seize' any and all assets using the word.
It came as quite a shock I can tell you, so I thought I should share it, especially for the operators of this site. Maybe 'INDY' would be a way to appease them? I don't know, but it's worth a discussion wouldn't you say?
I mean does Anyone know anything about ancient red indian laws anyway? Because I haven't a clue!
All the best
Mark.
