It happened already several times: people who order and then use the contact form on my site to claim "you bastard you didn't send me the code, fXXX!"
And every subsequent emails goes without a reply. I even use an automated system, so that after they send a message with contact form they automatically get a confirmation email.

And I even warn them:
You'll receive a confirmation email shortly. If you don't receive it, means that you can't receive email from us so please check that you entered your email address correctly, and that you don't have any spam filter enabled for pr@sakuragames.com
More than this!!!

was just wondering if is common (happened to other people too) and what you do in such situations...

Several aol customers freaked me out cause usually their mail server sends me "Cannot be delivered" email. Usually I contacted Plimus about this and they went all the trouble of calling the customer to make sure the key got delivered.

One of customer said thanks for my effort.. which is actually Plimus' (one of the reason why I don't switch to BMT eventhough they don't have paypal option)

This is one reason I really like ingame activation. The only email the customer gets is an order receipt. I get around 1 bounce every couple weeks - but nobody really cares. I am using eSellerate.

The main problem I have with email addresses is people who send me money directly through paypal but have their paypal account assigned to some email address they no longer use. So when I try to send them info, it gets lost. This has happened once or twice, but they contact me with a working email address and whine and I explain what happened and they're made happy.

Well you know who to blame for all these sorts of problems. The email virus and spam people.
