Not hard to guess since he was selling reflexive games since beginning... ;)
Shhh.... it's a secret. Or at least it is until you read his blog at IWorkAtReflexive.com. :p

:)
No big secret...wasn't sure if it was good for an announcement here...definitely excited to be focusing my day hours to something I enjoy a ton :) I started two weeks ago yesterday (some may have noticed the 3 weeks of no updates to GT as I was moving...
Thanks for the welcomes...and yeah GT will continue to sell Reflexive stuff...roughly 1/4 of the games we cover on GT are available through Reflexive Arcade... ;)

If you don't mind my asking: What's your position? What is it you do?
Well. This is great that now we've got a chance to know through GameTunnel website Reflexive opinion about all our games. :D
Sorry only that I was trying to promote the site in my latest interview without previous agreement with Reflexive. But I think James is fair guy so I could easily expect some amount of green money from him for my efforts. :D

Aw, crap! I guess that means you won't be visiting us at the Utah Indie Meets anymore... :(
Still, congratulations!

He's not the only one selling out. Starting tomorrow I'll be working over at Real as an associate producer on RealArcade. =)

You know, that's a tough one to know if you're joking or not. Thus, my response is either congratz or hahaha.

Thanks again for all the kind words.

Officially I'm Director of Marketing, which I think really suits my strengths. Actually I'll be doing whatever possible to help spread the word about Reflexive and Reflexive Arcade.
I don't consider it selling out for my part...in fact GT is unaffected by the change...except that I don't have to be so stressed about it and just get to enjoy it without trying to always find ways to increase revenue. :)
I do consider it a great opportunity for my life and career and am very excited about what I do and the people I work with :).

Actually, it's true. But it's a low-on-the-totem-pole position, but also only short-term while I figure out what I want to do next.
The position is nowhere as cool as yours, Cyrus_zuo's, and of couse GRATZ! =)

Say Hello to Mark and Dan and find out whether Mark mastered Meteos and his Castlevania rating is more than 99.5% :)

Maintanance mode for now. New projects in the next couple of years are unlikely, though we continue to support LOL. I simply lost *way* too much money...

So, no LOL for Live Arcade, or a side distribution deal like Darwinia did with Steam? It's a shame it's done so poorly for you, as it is a really great game.

At least we have a regular to send our demos to now....

Well, Shrapnel has exclusive rights to publish/distribute LOL for a while, so until/unless I renegotiate that (if it's even possible), I can't really do anything with it. If/when I'm motivated to get the rights back, I would expect it to be fairly trivial, given that the game is selling so poorly. I think the game is capable of more, I just think that it's not finding it's true audience through Shrapnel.
I would love to do an XLA port, and it's something I think about, but as of right now the scope that project exceeds my technical skills and budget. Of course, the recent announcement of C#/.NET support on the 360 goes a long way to making this (theoretically) more possible, since LOL is one of the few games out there written in C#/.NET...
At least we have a regular to send our demos to now....
Hehe. Unfortunately, I don't have any sort of decision-making capacity over there (yet), but I expect to settle into the team quite quickly and I'll be making sure the powers that be are aware of this community if they aren't already.
I have to say, for what it's worth, they seem like group of really cool people so far, and I think I'm going to enjoy working there even more than I was expecting...
Sorry about hijacking the thread, cyrus_zuo. I didn't mean to. =P

so what's going to happen with gametunnel ? I can see it's starting to get the audience and it'll be bad if it's gone to oblivion
