You know making a second post once you have a demo would be fine, but I think another thread just to show us the same things you did in the last thread (only this time it had a new name!!!!) is a bit much?

Not to be negative, but the video I saw was comprised of:

- walking west
- walking north
- walking east a little
- seeing the AI pathfinding getting screwed up at the garden gate
- quick camera pan to the left to put it out of view
- panning back the right after it fixed itself
- more walking east

I wasn't particularly impressed and I really can't tell you anymore about this game than before I watch the preview video. Seems like a failure on all fronts as a teaser. :)

It looks really good. May I ask how much the graphics take up in terms of disk space or memory? It seems like there's very little repetition, like the ground is one big unique texture etc. Or will the garden be small so it doesn't matter?

Also, the creatures seem to collide with each other, they should avoid each other in a more elegant way.

Hi, graphics takes about 50megabytes (DXT5 compressed) now. It is not so small size, so we must take care if we want to support older graphics cards. Right now we are working on some optimalizations, because we want to support 32mb cards without any performance issues (and maybe 16mb also).

Yes, the ground is one big texture (sliced into smaller 512x512 textures). Garden is not so large (2048x2048 is the maximum now)

And yes, creatures will avoid each other much better in the new version, but we do not want to make it super inteligent, because creatures we have should be taken as they are primitive and dummy :) - what do you think about it ?

That video shows that you have really great ambiental and organic feel ( as opposed to computorized, linear + a lot of live creatures that move like live things ) , but it shows nothing of what you should be doing there which is kind of strange ...

Thank You! This is what we wanted to achieve - to give it "organic and living feel" and to make a difference in how indie(casual) games look like these days. We have created all game artwork in this mood.

Of course screeshots and short video will give you only the imagination about how Flowerman LOOKS like.

We know everyone would prefer to see how the game behaves and try a playable DEMO, but dont worry we are working on it all day.

We will keep you informed about the progress so stay alert ;)

Pathfinding works 100% good but the thing you "saw" are collisions and those have some parameters that are not adjusted for gameplay yet! video was made ONLY to show some graphics and animation.;)
