Crunch Antics

As our release date gets closer, the working hours get longer, and the sleep deprived antics get funnier. While our programmer was out, we set up his laptops elsewhere. :p

Heh...when I was at Origin, one day when a programmer was out at a dentist's appointment, his buddies changed all the event sounds on his computer to this horrible loud drilling sound.

He got the last laugh, though, simply by leaving the sounds on his computer. Within a week, the same group was begging him to take them off :)

Also, I don't know if this counts as an "antic", but I enjoyed watching Hiyao Miyazaki make dinner for his animators when they were all cruching on Spirited Away (it's in one of the special features).

When a VP at a company I worked for was away I took emtpy soda pop cans from all the programmer's desks and stacked and taped them up to completely block the door to his office. I added a little sign that said "sorry, but the development staff regrets to inform you that you've been canned"
