Just want to publicly give a congrats to Steve Taylor and the rest of the gang at NinjaBee and Wahoo Studios for getting featured in the "A Thousand Words" section of Game Developer this month!
Great Work Guys! Keep it up! ^_^

I just got my copy today. It's awesome to see more and more indie game exposure in there every month. Game Developer had a pretty lengthy article about the state of the casual games industry in there too.

Yeah, I think it's partly because indies do some of the best stuff out there. They can afford to take the risks on something creative and new. Also the limited resources helps encourage creativity.

Congrats again to the NinjaBee guys! I have also noticed more and more Indie coverage in Game Developer Magazine as well. I think it's interesting to note that while Indie coverage has gone up, the general magazine size has gone way down. (Can it get any thinner?) I think that has something positive to say for all the indies out there.

Yeah, I saw that and was thrilled. Major congrats to the the Ninjabee team - particularly Brent Fox (the art director there). Nice job.
I think part of the focus on the indie game scene in Game Developer is that the indie guys are more "free" to discuss what they are working on. And it may also be the new "trend" (it used to be that every single issue of Game Developer was a "Cell Phone Game Special").
Go Indie!
I missed contributing Kaloki to the round up by a month, but I've been hooked on the 360 version this past week. Fantastic game.
Hey, thanks, everybody!
I had completely forgotten about the "a thousand words" thing until Mike mentioned it. I was out of town, but I found a friend's copy and was pretty happy to see our art in there. Yay!
