Fulltime Programmers

Serious Games seeks fulltime programmers to the video game Global Conflicts: Middle East. Your main tasks will be to implement code for tactical character control, strategic AI & other features with the technical lead. The game is developed in UNITY so we will not make an engine.
The computer game takes the Israel-Palestine conflicts as its starting points with students having the chance of playing both sides. Student/player operates on two levels – a strategic and personal. The strategic level focuses on the more general elements of the conflicts: Politics, diplomacy, economy, military and infrastructure. On the personal level the student moves around and solves different tasks like getting through a control post, becoming member of an extremist group, track-down lost brother, getting humanitarian aid, get back confiscated property – very concrete tasks and events that are designed in close collaboration with content experts.
Who are you?
Experience with C#, C++ or Java
Have knowledge of OOP and OOD
Ambitious, mature & indepedent
More than 2 years programming experience
Preferable experience with game code

About Serious Games
Serious Games develops computer games with an agenda that goes beyond pure entertainment. We believe that computer games can be engaging and enlightening on an endless number of current issues. Our first production is Global Conflicts: Middle East where you can play either Israel or Palestine.
Partners: We work closely together with a range of content experts and established players on the market to create a solid product. Currently we work together with IT-University of Copenhagen, Electronic Arts Europe, Over The Edge, United Nations, Alinea and Gentofte School district.
Team: We are a small, untraditional team consisting of 7 persons.
Place: IT-University Copenhagen (Denmark) - that is hotspot for game research, game education and have several start-ups within computer games.
Wage: After qualifications – we are in the early company phases which sets some limitations.
