Good rate for affiliate scheme.

Hi,

What would be a good percentage rate for my affiliate scheme for my web hosting business. At the moment I have it set at 5% of every sale. Is that too low or about right?

That's wayyyyy too little unless the product costs a million. For comparison you can get 35% or more gross from a game sale.

Noticed a typo on your front page:

"We also have a number of different sized banned adverts stored on our server that you can use for free."

I think (hope) you mean banner. Unless it's adverts for companies such as Crack R' Us or Arms & Munni - Warlord and terrorsists supplies. "Need to start a war? You've come to the right place"

I second the 35% suggestion. You are actually doing yourself a disservice with 5%. Get that number up to at least 30% before you start promoting the program.

Cheers for the feedback. I've upped it to 25% now.

Don't want to put it much higher because 25% is a big chunk of my cheaper packages.
