Last year I decided to primarily concentrate on the Mac market but the Mac is a strange, alien world where things work in strange, alien ways. Not only is the computer itself all weird and different, so are the people and the communities that foster them. Even in these forums there's not much Mac activity.
The Mac casual games market is surely totally underserved. When I go looking for Mac games using my Mac, I basically draw a blank, mostly. It's bloody hard.
Which portals have plans to cater for this? Or is it simply a slice of a pie no-one wants?

I think it's ignored for the large part but it really is a market just waiting to be broken open. I'd say 95% of my Dr.Germ sales are on Mac. They are so desperate for games, Dr.Germ was the featured game download on apple.com for over a week. :)

Same here for Ultratron - which isn't really a casual game but sold in droves for the brief period that it was on apple.com. There's hope yet!

PopCap recently entered the Mac market (they announced it at Macworld):

Gamehouse also offers Mac downloads for any games that have a port available:

I'm assuming big fish will start, aren't they supposed to be turning Fun Pause into a Mac game portal?
I seem to recall reading that someplace.

Hmm, there should be a good chance of getting my two minigames on Popcap or BigFish then... they're doubtless a bit starved of content in general. And my games are very reliable on MacOS as well.
