Some people have posted "trailers" of their games, so I thought I would post some gameplay footage of nano...

There's a few untextured objects etc, but you can get some idea what the game is about...

Free multiplayer deathmatch only version will be released February 1. to get some feedback and for betatesting... After that a shareware version is released containing more gamemodes, computer enemies and single-player.

Any comments are welcome...

Very very impresive video... also a great improwement from the last time I played "tech demo" of your game from blitz forums (I don't know - maybe half of year ago or more). If I remember then it was very very cool also but it was not that playable... now it seems very interesting , very different from classic stuf filled with interesting objects (and those floaty physics rock).

Uh, I sound like a fan boy again...

very nice,

It looks as if you found an original concept and implemented it very well.

Reminds me somewhat of those "virus" and "life" games where you play and develop an entity inside a living body (or machine)

Thanks for the comments.

I would also be interrested to know your honest opinion whether or not this kind of game can sell? I mean It's not very casual ;)

And as I have never sold anything online I would love any tips from the veterans about publishing / marketing this kind of game? I've read a lot of stuff on this site, but most of the good advice is directed to the casual / portalfriendly games.

I was also thinking what is a good way technically to sell this kind of game, as I want the customer to be able to get new updates / levels etc. for free, so just giving one link to full download and forgetting about it doesn't work. I would have to do some kind of members area on my website where to get the future goodies. But I don't know how to technically do this in a secure way to prevent piratism and illegal access... How would you do it?

Thanks in advance.

Never mind pirates etc. This kind of game will sell providing it's easy to play, and fun, and you get it on as many affiliate sites as possible. It looks great already so the real question is, is it fun to play? Especially single player.

Thanks princec...

I think the multiplayer is already great fun, but I also need to make a good singleplayer modes before going shareware with this. As this is single computer mp only and a lot of people don't have anybody to play it with.

But I have a few good singleplayer modes in mind... :D
