gameLab is a game development company based in NYC. We make innovative
and experimental games, mostly for the internet and online
distribution. We have a great reputation in the local game dev and
design community as a fun and challenging place to work, and every
member of our staff is given a great deal of creative responsibility

We are seeking an experienced game developer for a
downloadable game. Candidate will be the sole coder working with a
team of designers and artists.
Requirements:
- Interest in and enthusiasm for games
- Commercial software dev experience
- 2+ years C++ for game projects
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Experience in all areas of game programming including UI, graphics,
logic, audio, etc.
Helpful:
Windows application programming experience including MFC / DirectX experience
Our process is iterative and collaborative, so our staff need to be
based in the NYC area. This is a full-time contract position that can
grow into a staff position. It is starting in the near future. gameLab
