just some examples (all games of people here are present).
When you click on the download game, you get a file install.exe (which is OBVIOUSLY NOT MINE or POSITECH INSTALLER).
I didn't dare to check out what this file is, if anyone has a old pc or with a good ant-spyware program installed... :)
I just want to be sure what it is. If is a spyware, I'll just block the download from that domain... :(

We have a product showing there, inserted by a rogue Regnow affiliate. The site seems to be pointing to Regnow certified builds which have their own pre-installer to alter the registry but are otherwise ok. Only checked a few though.

it looks like they are pimping their own download manager. very shady if you ask me. I HATE download managers.

Isn't it about time your terms and conditions prevent others from hosting it in any form or linking to it without permission?

God, that makes me angry. Writing the bastards a letter now.

If you believe it is a legal issue, have a lawyer write RegNow also if you really want to cripple them.

Alright, they didn't reply back, and now I'm 22% more angry than I was. I'm not saying I'm going to fight them to the ends of the earth. So almost for the sake of argument...
Is there anything practical and useful that can be done when the company is off on a different continent? Hiring a lawyer to send a letter would be at least fifty bucks, I'd think. Do I want to pay fifty bucks just to have my listing removed? Would that even happen? That's not really a good effort/reward ratio.
Hiring a lawyer to send a letter to RegNow seems more satisfying because maybe e-commerce could be taken away from the entire site for at least a little while.
My partner speaks fluent Russian and we have some business contacts in ex-USSR territories. (No, not the break-your-fingers kind. ;) ) I wonder if it's extra-impressive to send a letter from a lawyer in the offender's own country.
Most likely thing I do is... nothing. It all seems to take too much time and money.
