Example graphic:

(Going for a somewhat realistic look rather than cartoon.)

I need an animated pointing hand. The hand needs to animate as if the hand is clicking on something on the screen. Each frame should be as close as possible to 52,95 pixels. Total frames no more than 15 or so.

PM here with your price or email: info@XSPAMdxgame.com

Thanks...

Hi StanChat,

Thank you for taking the time to put together an example. The hand is not bad, but the animation in the example you provided looks like the hand is pointing to an object directly to it's side. I need the hand to point (for a lack of better description) into the screen as if the finger is pressing a button. I guess it would almost be 3D'ish because the hand would be pointing away from the user towards the screen during the press.

Sorry for the example graphic not really showing the angle of the click. I was just trying to get across I wanted something more realistic compared to a cartoon looking hand.

I hope I have described this accurately. Thanks for your consideration.

I found this image, this is at least fairly close to the "angle" I was looking for. ;)

stanchat: just an observational tip.. I think he wants it properly animated where the finger tip bends. Try pressing your finger to the screen as if pressing a button. You'll notice it bends at the first knuckle.

Here is a graphic I paid for that unfortunately is not going to work for the game I am working on. Getting a new revision was not permitted so I figured instead of deleting it I would let others use it.

The above hand was too "bony, big, almost scary" when used in the game. It might work for a more generic interface or gui, but in this game it stood out like a, well...sore thumb. Everyone agreed a less realistic, slightly softer (female perhaps) hand would be better.

I am still willing to pay someone else to do a hand for me. Please pm or email me if you are interested, but this time around I will require the artist to at least do a 1 frame static prototype before adding animation, to make sure it's what I'm looking for. ;)

I am still willing to pay someone else to do a hand for me."Give me a hand!". :D

Speaking seriously, I have an index finger backupped somewhere that I digitized myself for the presentation of a touchscreen-based system.. but in the end it looked a bit horror (only the blood was missing, but people usually added it with their imagination).
