Nice screens! Your game looks a bit like that Geometry Wars game on XLA that people are raving about.

So I'm told. I've never played Geometry Wars, so i can't comment on game play similarities, but it does look similar. Anyway, a comparison to a popular game can't be too bad, can it?

Looking very nice. Reminds of a Kenta Cho game, or (as mentioned) Geometry Wars. I'm sure you played a lot of freeware Japanese shmups before you started working on this game :).

Not really, I started the game about three years ago, as a way to remind myself how to program again. I have played some of Kenta Cho's games since, but not before. It's been a sort of weekend project for me, but it's turned out a treat, and i cant wait for people to start playing it.
