Hi,
Do you know any DRM solution for MAC? I was thinking of buying software passport, but since it is not cross-platform and we may be forced to develop our own DRM for MAC because there is none, maybe I'll just save 300$ since we will have to make it anyway. Any suggestions are very welcomed :)

best regards

Esellerate I believe provides their own Mac DRM, but only if you use them for order processing. I think one other order processor does the same (but I can't remember which). AFAIK, there is no general purpose DRM for Mac.

Has anything changed for a Mac DRM? I think that Esellerate charges 10% of your sales. We've written our own for titles that we develop, but I have a need for a general Mac DRM tool for titles we did not write.

I'm looking for the one-hour free timer stuff, and then a link to a business's web-based order form (not all the Esellerate stuff)

Thanks,

Tom

I haven't seen anything, really (had a quick look around a few days ago). I'm using Armadillo/SoftwareProtect on Windows, but it looks like I'm going to have to roll my own for the Mac. Sigh. Weakest chain in the link and all that. But then again - I'm only using Armadillo to stop casual piracy. I have no delusions that anything can stop hard-core pirates or people that really wants my game for free (if only I'm lucky enough that my game is good enough to have people like that).

I found this thread when looking for Mac DRM solutions. Has anyone found a good Mac solution yet?

We don't need a big bullet proof system. Just something that stops people from casually copying the game from Mac to Mac that can connect up with TryMedia (or someone else's) ecommerce system.

Thanks for any help.
