I have finished a new website recently, and i am seeking opinions on it. The name on the website is Playground Games, but that name is only there for now. I will change it later on, when i have a name i like.

To do list:

Change the top pic(abstract.jpg). I believe it looks good, but i will replace it with the logo (Unfortunatley, the logo isn't finished...).

Create a contact form.

Look over the code, see what glitches there are.

Change host (But we will finish our first game before that, then i will change to a .com adress)

Gain feedback and look over the tips.

+ A lot more.

I am currently looking through "Killer web sites", a webdesign book by David Siegel. Will probably change some stuff when i have finished the book.

All feedback is helpful, taken into consideration and most welcomed!

A good book that... but take note of his tips on aliasing. Point in case: your title. I realise it isn't final, but when it is, try and eliminate those jaggies, especially considering the contrast in colour.

The page itself looks okay, but it's somewhat drab. Also, the grey used in the lower bar is darker than the others, and looks a little odd. With the text, it also looks odd how some parts are indented, yet others aren't... meaning that the webpage looks a little messy. Personally, I'd indent them all. Lastly, I'd go with bold for main titles, and italics for those sub-titles under them (if you just have to use italics). For example, the 'About us' title looks quite ugly.

Quick thing to adjust (I just noticed)... your font sizes. They seem to differ all over the place.

Yeah, the text is putten out there in the last five minutes or so. I will update it and upload a new version shortly.

Edit:

Do you think that i should have google adwords on the page, or is that plainly a bad idea?

If you give away the games for free, use Adwords. If you are in the business of selling games, however, then why would you bother your customers with ads? You're not selling ads, you're selling games. I think websites that try to sell products and that have Adwords at the same time look cheap and amateuristic.

Good point. Well, No google adwords for me. I will upload a new version of the site soon, i have gone through the fonts and typings.

The reason to the shaggy look of the top image, is that the text is on top of the image. I will fix that as well.

You'll probably want to increase the contrast a little between the fonts and the background.
