Hi guys, I'm well into my initial sales cycle now, and I'm a little disappointed in my conversion rate. The game is a very hot download on download.com, but I'm not converting enough sales. I wonder if some people here could offer insight into why they think that might be.

By the way, sorry I am reposting a request for feedback on this game, the last post was done in a rush and broke every posting rule in the book.

By the way, the download manager is gone, good riddance.

I know it's a good game, but I need to better communicate that in the trial experience. Thanks for any feedback!

I downloaded the demo and gave it a fair try. I love the idea of the game. I think that it could do with more variety of animals, and also possibly a way of alerting the player to what's going on offscreen. If my lions have ate all the zebras around an oasis, I need to physically go back there to check out what's happening. Visually the games nice, but you are probably in some way competing with the likes of Zoo Tycoon, so you need to pull out all the stops. The cloud effect, for example, really needs working on. Maybe you could add higher res textures for the ground, and more in the way of grass effects etc.
I think it's a great game, looks more proffessional than anything I've done. It's a great basis from which you can tweak it over time and hopefully push up the conversion rate.

Thanks Cliffsky- I'm adding music to the retail version so maybe I can slip it in there for the downloadable version too. I appreciate the feedback.

By the way, I've had a ton of impressions with Google Ads, but not that many clicks, and it's really expensive, since I'm competing with all those other Tycoon games out there. I'm gonna let it ride through the weekend and then reevaluate if it doesn't turn into sales.
