Lil Ships 2 started out as a trivially simple Real Time Strategy game, but turned out too complex and confusing to be fun. Now, I've made the enemy simpler and less numerous, plus added a tech tree (always fun).

Give it a quick try and let me know what ya think!

Hooray, this is a lot more fun to play around with. I'll try to find some flaws asap.

Edit:
Found some.
When the tutorial messages are too long, the "Press esc to exit the tutorial" overlays on the tutorial words, and makes it a complete mess.

You should also and try to add a background, or/and try to add add the simple "Moving Star Effect" where stars move in one directions in diffrent speeds to give you the illusion that your base and asteroids are moving in space.

2nd Edit:
The upgrades upgrade quite a bit too fast, I researched them all on the first level.

Also, you should make an upgrade to increase the number of maximum ships allowed on the playing field.

This is good feedback, but I know I still have a lot of game balancing and prettiness to add.

I just wanted to know whether it was a fun game concept, worthy of continuing to pursue.

Also, how many levels did you complete?

So far I only finished the first and second of them, but in my opinion you should add some variety to it. Just my two cents.

Yes, if you continue on it, I know it will become more fun and more addicting as it was before (Which is right now.)

Honestly, the concept is great, try removing some repetitiveness, and you can build it up to a great game! :D
