Introduce myself

Hi guys,

I think it would be appropriate to introduce myself
here. I have been lurking for a while and I guess I'm a Indie ;-).

I'm one of the developers of Lovechess : The Greek Era. I
did the graphics & interface design of the game. Besides I
also do most of the PR stuff.

For those who don't know the game : Lovechess website (http://www.lovechess.nl/en/index.php)

Main reason to register here is to share some thoughts on game
developing and promotion. And hopefully we can learn from each
other. But I think we are all here to do just that :-)

Looking forward meeting you guys, ( are there any woman
involved in game developing???? )

I don't think of it as hardcore, it's more a kinky game, but I'm dutch

I wouldnt say it's kinky, more like erotic. There was a guy who used to frequent the Dexterity forums (dont know if he has been here yet), now is game is kinky... it's called Fetish Fighters.

We call it erotic aswell, but kinky refers more to the sex anims.
they have a kind of twisted touch ;-)

We left the teasing aticipating anims in the game, by putting a demo on the web it will come in every hands, also of minors.

We thought it would be better this way. The demo gives you a real impression of the game, you can play a real game of chess, you get most of the pieces, with anticipating sensual anims. Well it's a demo right? We can't give it all away :-)

Why can't you just put a disclaimer on your site? or even better in the EULA before installing the demo? This would have legal validity after all, something like "By clicking on Next, you agree to view adult material...etc etc"
Even Microsoft uses it for legal issue, I should see no problem even distributing a demo with some of those erotic anims if you put that EULA before installation...

Yes we could do that, but we wanted to be on the safe side.

now our demo can be everywhere, and with the screenshots
aside it gives a good impression we think.
