Hello,

I'm looking for an artist to help me create 30x30 animated Sprites. I prefer 2D graphics as I want as much emotion put into it as possible, however I'm open to 3D. Here is the breakdown for each sprite:

Size: 30x30 but can stretch to 40x40 for movement.
Animations: Smooth & Loopable dancing animations
# of Animations: 8-10
Quality: High, no color limitation.
Payment per Sprite: $100
*Note: If you enjoy dancing or watching other dance, that is a plus :)

I'm aiming for 10 Sprites thus far. If you have a porfolio geared towards small animated sprites, please send me a link. If not but you are interested, please send me a sample of a 30x30 dancing sprite of a funny-looking Goblin.

email to: stevez@blueteagames.com

If you have general questions, post them here and I'll respond asap.

Thanks!

How many frames will you want for the sprites?
Do you prefer realistic or cartoony?
Do you use alpha channel information for smooth feathered masking (ie png)?
By 8-10 animations, please could you be more specific?

I read $100 for a single looping animation of some funky breakdancing or disco groove, not $100 for 8-10 different dance animations. Please clarify this.

Thanks :)

Hi, to answer your questions:

1. How many frames will you want for the sprites?
* I'm looking between 7-12 frames per sprite, not neccessary unique frames, as long as it gets the job done. So an animation can be only 5 unique frames but some of them are used 2-3 times.

2. Do you prefer realistic or cartoony?
* Cartoony

3. Do you use alpha channel information for smooth feathered masking (ie png)?
* Nope

4. By 8-10 animations, please could you be more specific?
* I'm aiming for ~7 different dance moves + basic animation (walking, stop,...) per sprite. For $100, you would be creating 8-10 animations where each animation has 7-12 frames (not neccessary unique frames). Then, times that by ~10 sprites.

Hope I answered it well :)

Welcome the Duddelprupel - the goblin disco star!

I think some guidance or reference for dancing moves will be helpful.
