Hey guys,
I'm doing full websites, single pages, forums/bulletin boards, custom scripts, flash games/effects and more. High quality work at very reasonable rates.
Indie Web Studio (http://www.indiewebstudio.com)
Come and see what I can offer you!
Fine work Gnat. A nice clean look to your sites.

Just a bit of constructive critisism, the sites in your portfolio, and your own sites colour's seem really washed out and bland and I find it really hard to read any of the text. I think you need to increase the contrast between the colours.
I also think you need to make the mini intro with all the menus flying in on your site faster, people won't like having to wait ^.^

Heres a good tool to check your contrast in your colours:

Also the site for the webstudio. Maybe try a different colours to define the hierarchy of the content and site navigation.
There you go. Thats my construtive Crit...

Guys, I appreciate the crits. But I am confused about what you mean, I'm just not seeing it. Perhaps you could give me an example of what should be changed?
Do you have the brightness or contrast settings on your monitor cranked one way? That could explain the color discrepancy.

Your websites look very very nice. I especially like how you made custom php websites! If I could find a cheap MySQL host I would use your services! I would ask you to modify my website and make it so that I could use php and mysql, so I could add music and downloads with ease.

Hey Leper,
Have you looked into Omnis (http://www.omnis.com) or BafServ (http://bafserv.com)? They are inexpensive and support what you need.
I been using them both for many months now and can vouch for them.

Wow they are pretty cheap!
I think I'll use them.. and free domain name? man that's great!
I dunno, for now I'm gonna use what I've got until I feel the means for expansion.
I've always liked using CMS (content management systems) for websites, I've used phpbb in the past, as well as xoops and all that. But I never want to use a commonly used CMS again because I believe they can be hacked easier than custom CMS.
So for $145.00 you will create a custom CMS that a compnay can use to login to and upload their content providing that you do not have to install the CMS yourself?

Yep, they are quite good.
I would be happy to create and integrate a cms into your site. However, since this is a custom coding job, the cost will vary depending on what specific functionality you want on your cms.
Feel free to email me (contact@indiewebstudio.com) and we can discuss the details further.

I just wanted to say that Nate just finished my website and he did an oustanding job. We used my copy of EZGenerator to make the look and feel, but the REAL magic was all done by him!
He created the music flash player, he created the php and the mysql needed for me to easily update my page as well. His charge was very, very reasonable, and his work was outstanding! Communication was great as well, he was always there to respond within a few hours and took his time to know exactly what I wanted out of the CMS (Content Management System) that he designed. He even added a sweet WYSIWYG editor (similar to the posting editor on this forum, but you actually see what it will look like so no preview button needed when you post) and made the site quite secure!
Thanks Nate!

Thanks Matt :) Looks like it's working very well for you.
Although Indie Web Studio is more focused on the visual design aspect of web development, as mentioned above I'm also an adept php/mysql/backend programmer. If any of you need custom backend work done, feel free to get in touch with me.
