I regularly delete posts that dont follow the format. I just can't be bothered to contact everyone individually and ask them to fix it since it happens so often. That has nothing to do with the particular artist who requested his thread be deleted.

Darrell just completed some work for me for TriGone. I was very pleased with what he was able to do for me. He was easy to negotiate with, and did the work for a fair price. Darrell was able to provide great art when I had no idea what I was really looking for. Other times he was able to make my specific ideas a reality. I’d recommend him to anyone.

(BTW, I have not yet incorporated his work into the version of TriGone on my website. Don’t judge him on my crappy programmer art. I’ll post again when I have his work up in my demo.)

Some people have asked me to give them some idea of what charges to expect. Naturally, this depends entirely on what the project requires, but to give you a rough idea:

Small projects (ie: single 2D character in a few poses or themed font design & page layout) 75-150 Euro
Medium projects (ie: 3D character in a few poses or multiple 2D characters) 150-500 Euro
Large projects (ie: multiple 3D characters in a few poses or 3D FMV sequence or lengthy 2D animation)500-1000+ Euro

Hopefully, that gives you a better idea of what to expect.
I'm also very happy to accept part of the payment as a percentage of profits from the project, though 75 Euro would be the minimum guaranteed cash that I could accept for any given project.
Typically a project would come in at around 100-400 Euro.
