Hi all,
Well, I know it's not a game (I'm still finnishing my first one) but I really needed a program to manage things I've to do. I just can't be without that and the other programs weren't good enough for me, so I've made the Swift To-Do List. It has an inbuilt reminder and to-do lists managed using tree structure, looks great, supports exporting to excel and html, and so on :)
You can view a screenshot there (worth of a 1000 words): http://www.dextronet.com/img/screenshots/swifttodolistbig1.png
And download it there: http://www.dextronet.com/swifttodolist.exe
I would really love to hear some feedback from you.
If you don't use any progie like this give it a shot, it raises my productivity greatly.

I think it's great!
I would buy it, but my notepad .txt file, although not that pretty and functional, still serves me nice.
I was just going to breeze past this one ... but then I looked at the screenshot and saw "Talk to Paul about Squash". This made me giggle just enough to get me to download and try it out.
I guess since I "need to restart my computer" before running it, I'll come back and post feedback a bit later.

I like this program and I might buy it. Its a real doddle to use aswell. If you added a feature to add a reoccuring task (ie one that needs to be done every day, every friday, every 1st of the month etc) I would certainly buy it right away.
However there is a small bug I found: if I try to export all task lists I get runtime error 5 and the program quits out.

Nexic:
It has been fixed some time ago (few hours actually). The version 1.25 shouldn't do it, if it does, I'll have to look into it again. Please let me know!
Also, if you have some cool ideas throw them at me!
And thanks for trying it out. I'm glad you like it.

Swift To-Do list has been just updated, current version is 1.50, I've implemented Nexic's ideas.
I'll welcome more suggestions and feedback!

I recently bought a to-do tool like yours. In fact i use it as to do-manager and even more as notes manager.Quick suggestion: My tool has an RTF-field for the notes. Yours seems to use plain text. RTF is quite useful for me. For links to web adresses or file directories.
Btw: Here's the tool i am talking of, in case you want to compare:

Thank you for your suggestion. Well I don't want to add much complexity, but I will think about it. The automatic link support in the notes could be very useful. I'll check out the tool you've purchased.
In my program the the tasks can have attachments - URL, email, file and folder.
Looks good. I currently use this (http://www.codeproject.com/tools/ToDoList2.asp) which is a little less friendly looking but has some very advanced features. Might be worth doing some research on anyway in case there's any features in it you think might be worth adding to swift todolist. :)

Looks nice, but it kept trying to install PostCast Server and failing (couldn't create the directory "C:\Documents\Programs", which already exists). Did that almost every time I did, well, anything. Could be because I've previously tried PostCast or something. So anyway, I'm afraid it didn't last long.
I currently use my own wee task tracker called Saturn (http://www.thehappycat.ukf.net/saturn.html), which is a simplified offshoot of a thing we created for internal use at my last company. It doesn't do scheduling, or due dates, or priorities (ooh, that's an idea) or anything like that. Hmm ... guess you can see why I'm not trying to sell it :)
Does me fine though :)

HappyCat,
It's most likely INNO Setup issue, I'm afraid that I can't do anything with it.
I've tried out Saturn and it's simple and nice, but obviously made for software development. Nice progie though.
