Hey All!

As soon as the cache refreshes it will be available through the main page of Game Tunnel, until then you can reach it here:

This month's Game of the Month goes to Water Bugs! It was the only Gold winner, though there were a few other great titles this month.

A big thanks as always to the 3 stalwart souls (Mike, Mike & Seth) who help to make the monthly round-up a reality each month!

Enjoy!

Hmmm... doesn't look like a particularly good month. Lot's of low scores...

September is looking perhaps worse...I'm struggling to come up with 10 games I think we should look at.

Shameless plug:

Alawar's Hyperspace Invaders is out. And a new Snowy the Bear game should be released any day. :D

Hehe... wouldn't that be an odd system. Doing our bidding (suggestions) and we up your scores. :D

It worked for Evil Invasion! Unwittingly.

Think some of the Evil Invasion changes may have come at our behest. Both Tom and I wanted to love EI but neither of us could last even 1 minute causing exit button click syndrome. Another shooter where the author cranked up difficulty way to high. I'll have to check out EI again. From reviews sounds like they fixed it up nicely. Nice to see our input mean something.

I don't know about that.... it may actually be HARDER than before! I played it a lot more after reviewing, and I might rate it lower now. You don't really have enough freedom in your choice of spells, you (well, I anyway) end up spending almost the entire game constantly flinging magic missiles. I got really tired of that whoosh noise...

Yeah... I've been playing it a lot and its somewhat frustrating. I beat the game at the regular level but really didnt get to explore even a small portion of the spells available. I almost always end up with a combination of magic missles and fireballs... Trying to use any other magic is almost suicide because you never have enough mana. I use those white shafts of light above telekenisis... whatever they're called as well, but as you try it on harder levels you don't really even get a chance to use those.

Thanks for the PMs :)

I'm getting closer to having the games for next month. Actually I'm thinking we may fill some of the space with games that we've missed during the year that are significant, like Kisses and Zombie Smashers X2 and I think there was another...um maybe Rumble Box.
