Hi all,

Our new game Rainbow Web is almost ready and I want to ask you to give us your opinion about our game.

Download:
http://www.SugarGames.com/files/RainbowWebBetaVersionSetup.exe (8.7 Mb)

Our game creates a statdata.txt in game folder where we save the time and score for each level. I will be glad if you send this file to me at sugargames@sugargames.com
This information is needed to balance the game.

Thanks in advance.

ok now THIS game I like!

When I send in your dat file, make sure you keep me informed on game dev.

But 1 thing, is this game obsessed with huts?

5 levels in a row were to spell different colors of huts, is there more?

Background graphics are nice and game play is simple, but unless I missed it,m the hints, can you shut them off?

ok got to level 2-3 and have over 40 min left.

How many levels are in this demo, or am I only limited by time?

I only played for a few seconds (not really my kind of game), but here are some things I noticed:

- Some small spelling errors in the intro text (or "prologue" as I think you call it).
- In the intro text, the Start button is placed on the right of the screen. But in the main screen, it is on the left. In the rules screen (or what was it), it is on the right again.
- The game crashed when I quit.
- It is kinda sluggish on my machine: PIII 1.2GHz, 256MB RAM, GeForce2 Go 32MB. Framerate was between 17 and 20 fps.

Sure, there is much more. You will open a brigde, a magic tower, and even a plane.

We hoped that hints would be helpful. Can you tell me what doest it wrong with them?

There are the 60 levels and you have 1 hour in demo-version.

Hi,

Thank you very much for your feedback.

English in not my first language. Can you send me the list of spelling errors you found? Thanks in advance.

Can you tell me what operating system do you use?
Did you opened our game in full screen mode?

Sorry, already uninstalled the game. There were only a few I remember, and just some sentences that didn't seem to flow right (so I should have said "grammar" errors instead of "spelling" :)). No big deal, though.

Can you tell me what operating system do you use?
Did you opened our game in full screen mode?
Windows XP Home SP2, DirectX 9.0c. Yes, I played in full screen mode. I don't know if the crash is reproducible, because I only tried once and I uninstalled the game after that. All I remember is that the screen was being restored to the desktop when the game crashed. No more details, sorry.

I have noticed that when I leave the game, I get the default "windows error" sound, but I see no error, either that is in the game or its a split second thing and when the game exits, it errors and then the problem is gone so it doesnt display.
