Hey, a while ago I posted on the old dexterity boards about my website. Ugh. I think I have got it a little bit better. Also I'm too ashamed to show the old version but you might be able to did it up on some archive site if you really want to... .__. please don't.

Anyway I am here to ask for your comments on how it looks now, and any ways to make it better.

Thank you very much for any input!

I like the layout, and I think it's fairly well thought out.

Some suggestions for improvement:
I noticed a number of spelling and grammatical errors; you should have someone who is very good with the english language proof your pages.

The button "<<<" doesn't do anything?

You have a link for the forums on the games page. I'd use a button to get there, for consistency sake.

You are able to reload a page by clicking on the navigation to that page (i.e. if you are on the "games" page, you can click on the "games" button and then that page will reload.) From what I remember about web page usability, this is a bad thing.

Is there a way to navigate to the home page? (I couldn't find the home page, or a way to navigate there.)

Hope that helps

Anthony

Yeah, backround - it stays default color.

The markup looks pretty bloated. It was done with dreamweaver huh? (At least it looks similar to it's output). Oh and the doctype is missing.

I like the choice of colors in general, but it feels somewhat uneasy for the eyes (I mean reading the text). Well... eventually that's just me.

Those flash animations are ok. However, I wouldn't loop 'em. Animated things are attention grabbing, which can be pretty annoying if you want to read text next to it.

The font is rather small... ok no problem for me since I'm using 800x600 and my eyes are pretty good. However, using a bigger font size (ctrl+mousewheel) doesn't work, because all boxes have fixed sizes.

On the games page the links are pretty cramped. Website, demo and registration links are stacked on top of each other, leaving a pretty small error margin. Well, no problem for me - I have a optical high precision mouse which allows pixel accurate movement, but others don't. Make that easier ;)

And now something different... you picked the name "subsoap". "Soap"... y'know... you might want to try to use some kind of "soapy" look and feel. Round, wavy, bubbles, water and... yea soap. Right now it's pretty rectangular and boxy... totally unsoapy if you ask me. Well, think about it ;)

You are selling games, yes? Then why is your Games page separate from your homepage? I would put the game info right on the frontpage in front of their faces. Most users won't click around very much, so it's best to put the stuff you want them to see front and center (in big easy to read letters).
