Hi All!
Here is Water Bugs for the Mac. This is the first build of a game with this engine to use gcc instead of code warrior, but it appears solid.

One known issue: There is an endian problem causing a color channel swap on a couple graphics. If you haven't tried the PC version, you won't notice.
Special thanks to Mike Austin for doing the port!
I would love to know the specs of your mac and how it ran on it :)
Thanks!!

Water bugs has a nice smooth look. I'll probably check it out sometime soon. I played cosmo bots and got to level 150 or something but then the game got so friggen hard i stopped playing! So other than graphics is Water bugs any different?

Downloaded and works ok on my dual 2Ghz G5 with 1.5MB of RAM.
I have a 23" LCD and the picture doesn't stretch for the entire display (which I figure is understandable), so I am left with 2 black bars on either side of the picture.
Otherwise game plays fine. Got up to about level 18 before the phone rang.

Seems I can't edit my own posts.
obviously I meant 1.5GB of RAM.

Did you try toggling the LCD Mode in the options of the game?

Yep. When I toggled the stretched/centeredit turned the game display into a smaller box in the middle of the screen. At no time did it fill the full width of a 23" display, but then as I said earlier. But then I guess this could be working as intended, otherwise the display may look overly distorted.

No visible problem here. Mac mini, G4 @ 1.5 Ghz / 512 MB system ram, running Tiger and Panther.

Worked excellent here. 1.25 ghz emac w/ ati 7200. One little thing, on intro screen text you showed "Cosmic Bugs have crashed" and "sequel to hit Cosmo Bots", not sure if was intentional or not.

It played great for me. One issue I noticed: after playing 1 game I got a high score and was back in the main menu. If I clicked the high score button from there my single high score was duplicated. When I went back to the main menu and clicked high score again it then showed up 3 times, etc.
