I'm considering using Promosoft to blitz out my game to all the sites out there. However, I have noticed it doesn't support Kagi, nor SWREG. This means that I'd be adding the game as a 0% commission, ensuring a low priority placement.

I am working toward getting RegNow set up (3rd time lucky!), which seems to be supported everywhere. However, I'm unsure whether I should delay the promotion until I can enter the proper affiliate deals. Is it as easy to update this stuff as it is to do it in the first place? Or should I wait until RegNow is set up, so I can do it right first go?

RegNow may take some tweaking as I have my own C++ program to do the keygen, which has been somewhat painful to adopt from one company to the other.

Most of these free download sites won't make you any affiliate sales. I've only ever received one (out of all my games) from such a site, and that was Softpedia. Really I think you will overall make more money by submitting to free sites, not giving the affiliate details and getting 100% of any sales they do manage to make. Because they don't even seem to give you much more promotion if your an affiliate.
