New Bantam City Website Look and Feel

Hi all, just wanted to get some feedback on the new site look and feel. Let me know what you think... good stuff and bad stuff. :D

Also, let me know if it doesn't load right in certain browsers and such.

I like it, and I really like that you made the screenshots immediately visible. So many websites neglect to do this, making potential customers click two or three times before they get to see a single screenie. It's like advertising porn with text descriptions. "No, really, trust us, this is HOT stuff!" :rolleyes:

The only thing I would change is the arcade cabinet picture. As it is, it looks like a half-loaded gif. I would replace it with a cartoony drawing of the cabinet, or a more finely pixelated image, that gets the effect across better.

Overall, very nice!

My only gripe is that you do not seem to have a consistent look & feel for buttons. For example, the grey buttons on the top have an orange highlight (not nice btw), and you have buttons of different colours or the same colour that highlight differently. I would suggest keeping in with two main types. For example, all grey buttons having a light blue highlight (as in the Arcade page) and the secondary button type (yellow?) having a red highlight only.

Thanks guys... I agree that there should be more consistency with the button highlights and I also want to change the way the top buttons highlight in general.

I see your point with the arcade cabinet image. This image will be like a spot light of the Bantam City News section, so it will change with the news item.
