Thought I would put up an announcement here, as its far easier than emailing each and every likely candidate through their websites or contacts.
I run an Edinburgh based startup called Black Company Studios (http://blackcompanystudios.co.uk). We are two experienced programmers who've worked on various different platforms (PC, XBox, PS2). We specialise in software support for the games industry, and are actively looking for contract work at the moment. We can do ports, tools, sub-games, or even consultancy work; smaller jobs are not a problem. Our rates are competitive, and scale with the amount of work needing done.
