You know, "de Vries" is not that uncommon a surname in the Netherlands, to say nothing of "Alex". Ever think it might be a different person? This Alex de Vries is 20 years old, so if he were the same person than reuns Xing and previously worked for Crystal Interactive, then he must have been in the publishing business since age 14 or so, which sounds slightly implausible.

EDIT: Daniel, Alex de Vries is a rather (in)famous personality in the shareware scene. He runs a publishing company called Xing, which has drawn the ire of many indies due to reportedly shoddy communication and late/non-existent payments, not to mention that he asks for exclusive retail publishing rights with no upfront payment. Do a search for "Xing" and all shall be revealed. Whether the accusations are true or not, I cannot say, but where there's smoke...
