No! I don't think so! It's because he publishes the RealArcade Top10 list! I know. Now don't try to convince me otherwise. In his greatness, JCS suggested someone should track Shockwave.com. I thought, "there's no better way to share some of the unconditional love and worshipping he gets!"</kidding>

So here it is, the Shockwave.com Top 10 List.

There's not a lot of data yet, I'll see if it's possible to get past data. Since I wrote it in Gnumeric, I want to know if you folks can read the XLS file it exports. I also changed the format of the Trends table (rotated 90º) to make it more readable. Let me know what you think.

Theres something weird with that file.. Its got these macros n stuff. Maybe just a straightforward grouping of cells n labels. I'd like to see the list.

Gabriel, I know you just started tracking this, but you could possibly use archive.org to fill in some of the holes going back into the past. It's not perfect, but it's a start.

Here's a link to take you to whatever they've cached http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.shockwave.com/sw/downloads (I couldn't find any 2005 pages however, and it looks like their Top Ten list started after April 11, 2004).

Didn't think of that... but a quick look shows between 3 and 5 pages per year. It's way less than once per week... it doesn't add much information, I'm afraid. Besides someone else thinks he can get complete historical data. But good idea anyway!

Yeah, I knew it wouldn't be weekly, but I thought it would fill in some of the holes at least. If someone can give you more complete historical data then by all means go that route.
