Guys--

I need several tracks for my game, but can't afford to pay for them (shocking, eh?). I thought struggling bands/ musicians might donate tracks for the free advertising and weblinks etc.

Just wondering if anyone has any bright ideas as to where I might advertise? I'm happy to listen to anything from Heavy Metal to Chemical Brothers type stuff.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Dan

Hi,

I've got 4 cd albums worth of music BUT it is all techno and electronica (Mark Sheeky who sometimes appears here will vouch for me on this).

It's all my own stuff and I have used three of the more mellow tracks on one of my own games last year 'Dweebs Slots'.

I can give you ftp coords to my ftp server (you need a proper client to log in like SmartFTP or CuteFTP tho) if you want to grab it all just PM me if you want it ok.

Prolly not your cup of tea though - some of it is good some of it is arse!.

Cheers,

Adrian.

One of the things that is coming out of podcasting is 'podsafe' music, basically music that you're free to play on a podcast if you give props to the musician.

I'd say there's a good chance of getting a positive reply, if you can find something that suits your style.

People seem desperate to give me music for my games for free.

Cas :)
