I made this game a while back, called Splinter Source. Essentially what you've got is a cross between splinter cell/metal gear and mario... A bit of an odd concept, but I went ahead and created it anyways. Just thought I'd share this little bit of stealth gaming with everyone

Heres an online version with a high score board. You'll need to download an extension to play though. Scroll to the very bottom, and look on your left hand side:

And here is an offline version with no high score board. However, you won't need an extension (1.7 mb):

Although the controls are included in the readme, heres a quick overview of them for your convenience:

Walk - left/right arrows
Jump - Shift
Grab Pole - Up (while close to a pole)
Hide in shadows - Up (while in shadows)
Punch - Left/Right + Ctrl
Draw gun - Ctrl (can be done while hanging from a pole)
Fire - Shift (while gun is drawn) note: you do not start with bullets

A few rules:
- Falling down on guards from a sufficient height (about 2 blocks) will knock them out.
- Punching guards from behind while they're not alert will knock them out
- Shooting guards while they're not alert will kill them instantly

Now here's what I need help on. I'm currently producing a superior sequel (that has nothing to do with the splinter source) called Iron Nail which is similar but very different. Iron Nail will contain different guard types, weapons, a bigger map, more objectives, and a lot more things I won't bother to list atm. For now, here are some screens of Iron Nail:

(note that the background graphics are tempoary)

And here is an official International Game Developer's Association report on a conference in which Splinter Source and Iron Nail were presented in:

All that stuff up there was just to show this is a serious project. So if your not serious about commiting to the project, don't apply. Here's what I'm looking for:

Programmer
I have to do EVERYTHING for the game so I have very little time to do the code, and thus picked up some middleware that was easy to use. However, I'd perfer if Iron Nail didn't use middleware since its incredible inefficient. I've programmed most of the engine anyways, so I just need someone to convert it into C++ code or something.

Musician
I've got ONE musician but he likes to do synthetic stuff... Not quite what I'm looking for. I want more of an orchestrated metal gear / the rock style sound track. Worst comes to worse, I'll stick with the guy I've got.

Sound Technician
I want original sound effects. I really don't know too much about recording/making sound effects but I do know I'll need more than just gun shots and grunts. I'll need sounds for stuff like pressing buttons, accepting, cancelling, using items, picking up items stuff like that.

Artist
I need someone to draw characters for stuff like cut scenes. Currently I've got a few drawings already done so whoever applies has to be at least better than me. Send me some art along with your application. I'm also looking to produce a short 8-10 page long color comic book to hand out as a marketing gimik for Iron Nail. So if your looking to get into drawing comics in the future, this could be a great start!

Web Designer/Technician
Iron Nail outputs data that will feed into a web database where people can create accounts and have stats from the game recorded online. So I'll need someone who can code something like this with asp or php (I'll provide a server).

Ok thats all that I need covered. I COULD do without any of em but it would REALLY help to have some backup on this very original project.
