A fast growing New York City-based online tournament game company is looking for a seasoned Director expert with strong Lingo programming skills to be a Game Integration Specialist. The “Specialist” will help top Shockwave game developers worldwide integrate their games with our company's software development kit, adding community and premium game play features. The Specialist will play a lot of games and work with the best game developers to make their games even better. You will also work with our production team in Denmark, Europe to refine and expand our Shockwave API, and develop new original Shockwave games.
You want to be the Specialist? Here is the deal:
- Minimum three years experience working with Macromedia Director
- Built at least three game projects in Shockwave using Lingo
- Advanced Lingo programming skills, including knowledge of object-oriented programming, puppet sprites, sprite behaviors, the ActorList etc.
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to other Shockwave developers’ idiosyncracies
- Knowledge of Flash + ActionScript is a bonus, but not a requirement
- Knowledge of other programming languages, such as javascript, Java or C#, is a bonus, but not a requirement
- Familiarity with graphics applications, such as Photoshop and Illustrator is a bonus, but not a requirement
