Posted this demo cus I'm hoping a talented 2d pixel artist will join the project (more info below).
The game engine is 50% done (all the hard stuff done). :p
The game will play like Qwak (used qwak gfx) http://www.jamiewoodhouse.f9.co.uk/qwak_amiga.htm but a few differences and story.
So you want in send me some samples of your work. You will also need to be able to do large screen images.

This will be a profit share venture split 3 ways (Coder,Artist,Musician).
Game will sell for $19.99USD so each party will earn atleast $6 per unit sold.
I will also approch publisers and distributors who I've worked with in the past to secure
distribution through them, you will also earn an equal share of that too.
You will have full access to any sales statistics.
WORK (Estimates)
---------------
-10 animated characters 32x32px(about 4 unique frames for each).
-20 tiles for each world, 10 platform, 10 background (some tiles can be reused in other worlds)
-8 simple background images 640x400 (1 for each world)
-1 title screen 640x480px
-9 unique comic book style cells 400x300px (See "INTRO/OUT-TRO/Between Worlds" below)
-6 point pickups 32x32px (fruit,gold,diamonds etc)
-1 Ingame font 16x16px
-3 items Chefiy throws (Spoon, fork, knife)
-3 animated special effects 32x32px (explostions etc)
... that should cover everything but their might be other little bits I've missed.
STORY
-----
Cheify (temporary name) woke up to find an important looking note on his door mate, he opened it
up and found he has been chosen to bake the Kings birthday cake.
Cheify rushes to his cupboard but finds it bare, shock horror, Cheify then embarks on an adventure
spanning the kingdom to find the ingredience.
At the end of each World (8 Worlds, 10 levels each), he can collect the ingredient.
INTRO/OUT-TRO/Between Worlds
----------------------------
These cut seens will tell the story. Each cut scene will consist of several static comic style
cells filling about 1/4 of the screen.
Example, Intro:
Cell 1: Close up image of note selled in envelope laying on the door mate.
Cell 2: Close up image of note being held in the hand as if reading the note.
Cell 3: Image of Cheify looking in an empty dusty, cobwebbed cupboard.
Cell 4: Image of Cheify Leaving quickly via his front door.
... So four comic book style images about 400x300px
