Hi all.
In some time we will be launching our new game called Magic Match. And we are wondering if it would be worth buying a Code Signing Certificate from
www.thawte.com (http://www.thawte.com) (it costs $199 for one year).
We suppose if a gamer downloads a game from a portal it will be signed with the portals certificate and even if not, a portal has much greater creditability than our small humble site.
So if it costs $200 it would be about 12 purchased games (which cost $19.95) to cover this expense.
What's your opinion - do gamers really care if a game is signed and the lack of the certificate could result in a lost buy?
Best Regards
