Do you really think that it would be "unbelieveably funny" to play hide and search with the trojan installation of your so called "'game'"?

Anyway ... how does your 'game' uninstall when it starts to get boring? It obviously wants to play "search" even when I'm not in that particular mood.

Oh, by the way, if I would know who you are and where you are I would install a bullet in your head - for *FREE* - with no uninstall options. If you somehow managed to manually uninstall, I would make sure to reinstall it - twice.

Either start writing your explanation about how to remove your "'game'" or start finding a hiding place - at least for the link of your "clever" 6kb invention. I recommend the recycle bin - if you are thinking about getting rid of all the garbage, not just the offending link - but can't make up your mind - I can gladly give you a push in the right direction ... that would also, as a side effect, remove the bullet installation(s) for good.

I think you should try Ad-Aware http://www.lavasoftusa.com/ it's a great program, don't expect that 'game' to have an uninstall option... :(

Ad-aware wasn't able to find it (thanks for the advice anyway). But I managed to remove it manually (I think). I deleted the "C:\run.exe" (it was marked as a hidden system file) - then I was able to remove it from the registry. Funny, I couldn't open the Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run before killing and deleting run.exe then restarting - might be a coincidence, but it's definitely strange. I hate that I don't know what else might have been polluted on the system. It really didn't cross my mind that someone on this forum would be trying to spread these kind of "clever programs".

The program is just an annoying search bar on top of all other windows that doesn't like to be removed with a really stimulating incentive "Quick! Search!" - I was like jumping and started drooling all over this really cute and awesome bar, then I searched and searched - quickly! - for 48 hours straight, nonstop - because I thought it was so cool (yeah, and I was like forced to use it :rolleyes: - It was more like I was forced to remove it - I don't know where people get these ideas).
