Payment terms (30 days etc)

Ok this will make one poster on here smile but here goes....
What's your expectation in terms of payment terms from online sales?
Say you have a portal deal. would you expect to be paid monthly? quarterly? with how much delay?

such as every month 30 days after month end?
90 days after month end?
30 days after quarter end?
etc etc

What would you expect to get? I've got some portal and retail deals, and I can't list which is who obviously, but I've had 30 days after quarter end and 30 days after month end. Is that normal? There seems to be a lot of variation out there.

One major portal pays us 45 days after the end of each month.
Another one pays 30 days after the end of each month.

Quarterly payments seem way too infrequent.

I'd like monthly payments, at most 10 days after the month finishes (ie March payments on or before April 10). The norms seems to be monthly, 30 days after the month finishes. Not ideal but I can live with that.
