Hello, my first post here.
For those of you who develop on a Mac, can barrow a Mac, or work with cross-platform APIs, like SDL, and wish to have a lot of fun, please take a look at iDevGames' annual contest, uDevGames.
You can find details at:
www.udevgames.com
In a nutshell, the contest is focused on Indie game developers, but requires a playable for the Mac platform for competition. Source code from the entries gets released back into the community (under any OSI approved license) after the winners are announced.
Why join? Did I mention that since 2001, we have given away more than $50,000 in prizes -- last year, 40 or so devs competed for over $27,000 in prizes.
You have 3 months to finish your entry, and the contest started on August 9th!!
Hope to see some of you sign up, and be sure to visit our forum at:
www.idevgames.com/forum
Cheers,
Carlos Camacho

p.s. If you are a musician, designer, or artist, this event is great for you too. Look in our Help wanted/offered board to collaborate with a Mac developer. :)
