Speed test (anyone with very fast connection)?

I have 1.5MB cable connection (hehe... sorry ;) ) connection, and it downloads from both servers at about 130kbps.

Nice, so considering also the stat that iakibuk told me in chat:
didone.com was much faster than winterwolves.com
110KB/sec - 42KB/sec

I can say that was a good choice... I sell much more on USA alone than in europe :)

winterwolves.com = Powweb = faster from USA
www.didone.com = my old italian ISP (I use it as mirror site) = faster from europe

Edit: gah... looking at those highspeed connection and then at my modem topspeed of 7 kb/s make me sad :(

Downloading from both at the same time the second one finished about 10 seconds faster than the first. I am in Canada.

On my home cable connection (San Diego, CA; USA) I'm getting average of 350 KB/s on the first line, average of 230 KB/s on the second.

On the first link, the file seems to burst out of the gate.. It started off at about 600 KB/s and then averaged down to 350. On the second link it started off at about 150 KB and then averaged up to 230.

don't know what connection we've got (i work for a large ISP) but I'm in UK and winterwolves dl'd at approx 300K/s and didone at over 2mb/s

Hehe, well I realized that comparing speed from a server (winterwolves) who also get much daily traffic (over 1500 daily visitors) and a mirror (didone) who gets max 150 daily visitors doesn't make much sense... :o
