A very useful info (for starters) was those old dexterity threads about setting up your indie dev business in the various states (USA, UK, etc).
I was also wondering, since I'll be moving away from Italy soon, and I really don't know for how long I'll stay in Austria, if someone had any advice about setting up a business abroad, like Ireland ,etc and if it is a viable solution for small business like indie dev?
I've heard for example that in some countries you pay less taxes (one of them is Ireland) but never understood exactly how it works (I'm not good at all at such accountant stuff...)

If anyone has any good advice... :)
EDIT:
for example I found this link with google
http://www.companiesmadesimple.com
are those sites reliable? or they're risky?
There is ANY way to setting up a business legally without having to take into account 1000000000 things/laws or going every 2 days to an accountant or I'm dreaming??? :(

Hi there!

I would suggest you contact someone who has already set up a company in Italy (or where ever you want to set it up) and ask them about it. Do you have any friends or their families? Or perhaps some local flower shop? Ask them and I'm sure you get useful hints. Or ask your friends to ask their friends. I'm sure somebody knows how to do it and is willing to tell.

Hehe you don't know Italy ;)
Isn't up to setup a business in general, but to setup a business to sell online.
Yesterday I wasted 2 hours at phone (to the various institutes/finances) trying to discover more without getting even a vague direction.
People answering at phone didn't even know what was e-commerce :) Oh well, nevermind, soon I'll be away from this prehistoric place...

Hi Jack,

Perhaps this will be of assistance:

http://www.lowtax.net/

Has tax and corporate information for many, if not all countries.
