Can't seem to find what AAA stands for other than road-side assistance... Ever try to Google on a vowel? I know this designation is used when talking about big iron games, but does it have an actual meaning?

Triple A....
Just like saying A Plus! Plus! Plus! Plus! Plus! Plus!
Like a B movie... A movie... AAA game, that's all.

I don't think it is an actual acronym, but probably was carried over from AAA baseball... being the highest level of a league of baseball (a term usually used for minor league)
What is an AAA game?

Basically a blockbuster game/movie that was on a whooping budget with whooping publicity and sold like whooping crazy. Thats all.
