I bet I'll win the Minimalist Award :)

The background, probably the most interesting feature in the screenshot, is from a raytracer I wrote a while ago - but it's not this one (http://www.mysterystudio.com/2k_raytracer.php)

Looks Great Liz.
Hey, ggambett, interesting that you aren’t using winx, how many devs here use linux?

Mines dedicated to Coin Planets as expected. Features the "spikey-crab-monster-type-thingy" from Jupiter. Scared the life out of me the first time I saw it moving in the game

I'm entering "the most desktops" category :)
Just curious: how do the windows people live without desktop switching ?

Here (http://www.acm.wwu.edu/~daveman/DYDesktop.png) is mine. I ran it with my editor open, because I doubt anybody really wants to see 3 monitors covered with one tiling background!

here's mine. The icons are disorderly, but that's only 50% due to my work style and 50% due to a recent video driver snafu which forced my icons out of the neat piles I'd made.

:( I think the link is dead.

Which link? Mine? Seems to work for me....

TechBear, your link doesn't work for me either. This fills my soul with angst. BTW - http://www.aggressivegames.com/ is a "The page cannot be displayed" as well. Perhaps a firewall or DNS problem? It takes a long time to not work, though.

Wayward, very clever! :)
Here's my "desktop" (http://www.rototostudio.com/misc/Workbench.png). No, I can't read the icons titles either ;). I'm using keyboard shortcuts or the right-mouse-button menu to launch apps... The text editor is often opened on another screen, as well as the web browser, mailer, paint program...
Regarding aggressive games, my browser tells me "Impossible de trouver le domaine "www.aggressivegames.com"", so I guess it's a DNS-related problem.

That's an amazing collection of messiness. I don't feel near as bad about my desk anymore :)

I also use Linux as my main OS. Unfortunately I am not in front of my machine at the moment as I am at work, but if anyone has used fluxbox, it is as plain as that.
Also, I agree. When I go to work, I have to use WinXP, and I keep wanting to switch to a different desktop. B-) Desktop switching rules.

Okay, thanks for pointing out that aggressivegames.com lost proper DNS support over the weekend. I've gotta go print out the forms and fax them to my registrar to get things straightened out, then DNS will take a day or two to propogate, sigh...
Anyway, try this link for my desktop image.

Is that actually an amiga or is it some kind of skin for a windows desktop? It sure looks like real Workbench to me!

Yes it is :)
I'm using it to develop my game and the web site (among other things). Sadly I need the PC to compile the Windows port and check the html ;)
